- Also offers a browser extension
- Simple, uncluttered result screen
Where SSTikTok differs
- No extension or install of any kind — it works in the browser you already have
- Shows file sizes and resolution before you commit to a download
- Same tool works across nine platforms rather than TikTok alone

Frequently asked questions
Is SSTikTok a good TikMate alternative?
It depends what you want. TikMate is a straightforward TikTok downloader with an app-style interface. SSTikTok focuses on showing you every available format and resolution before you download, and stores nothing on the server. If you want an installable app or a specific language, TikMate may suit you better.
Is SSTikTok free like TikMate?
Yes. SSTikTok is free and needs no account, and so is TikMate. Neither charges for a download — the difference is in what each one shows you before you press the button.
Do I need to install anything to use SSTikTok?
No. It runs in your browser on iPhone, Android and desktop. There is no app, no extension and no toolbar.
What happens to my video after I download it?
Nothing is stored. The file is fetched from the source and streamed to your device. There is no library, no cache and no copy retained on our side.
